One drone battery typically lasts between 20-30 minutes. There are a lot of variables that dictate the life of a battery, with weather being a primary consideration. Our small business charges a $85 equipment deposit for a drone shoot that covers the first battery and a half hour flight. Between 5-15 minutes of actual footage would be gathered during that half hour, depending on the wind/weather, the size of the space covered, and the amount of camera angles. Each additional battery used results in an extra $85 charge. After recording the footage, our producers go to work at an affordable video editing rate of $55 per hour. Therefore, a dynamic promo video like the one above might cost $585 dollars. That's three sessions worth of drone coverage with each batter (ex. $255) plus a six hour video editing session (ex. $330). Copyright free music, simple graphics, and one round of client revisions are included in the cost of any video production that All Business Videography manages.
