Court depositions can be complex and intense, but All Business Videography LLC makes the videography piece of the process simple.

All Business Videography (ie ABVLLC) was founded by longtime television news producer Matt DeSarle.

He uses his extensive background covering complex law and policy issues to deliver a professional service to treat each case with care and confidentiality. Whether Matt himself is behind the lens or one of our other qualified videographers, the recording and delivery will be high quality.

What do legal videography services with All Business Videography LLC include?

Legal videography services provided by All Business Videography LLC include 4K or HD quality video with clean picture and sound. The witness typically will wear a lavaliere microphone. This ensures that their testimony is captured without any interference. The picture quality can be recorded and delivered in 4K, HD, or lower quality.  Some law firms prefer longer recordings at a lower bitrate (see below). Firms (or related clients) will receive unedited full recordings of the deposition. Recordings might be limited to 60 minutes apiece due to individual camcorder settings.

What’s excluded from legal videography services?

The service includes one videographer responsible for overall quality control. He or she will not be a notary. A notary or court reporter must be provided by the law firm hiring our service. The videography services include a recording, but not a live feed (Zoom or equivalent). Oftentimes, a video conference can easily be set up by a laptop or equivalent as a separate but parallel process. Video editing is also not included in the service. If portions of the testimony need to be edited together, a $55 per hour service will be bid as a separate project.

How much does a legal videographer cost?

The cost of videography for a legal deposition is dictated by the videographer's time and equipment, not necessarily measured by the resolution of the video.  Because deposition sometimes marathons with 1-2 hours per recording, some law firms prefer lower resolution video recordings.   For example, we've recorded depositions at 720p quality.  This makes it easier to transfer video files to other offices.  The cost for legal videography includes one hour for set-up and a minimum of 3 hours total.  The hourly rate and related services are listed below.

  • $75 hourly rate for HD quality (or less) video recording including 1-2 subjects mic'd up (ex. deponent and attorney)
  • $95 hourly rate for HD quality (or less) video recording including 3-4 subjects mic'd up (ex. deponent, two attorneys)
  • 30% rush delivery within 24 hours (otherwise delivery happens in 3-5 business days)

Costs above include private delivery of full recordings on Dropbox.
Costs above do not include lighting kit, video editing, or other enhancements not listed.
